Understanding the Service Free Warranty

Selected restorative plans at Royal Dental Clinics may include service-free coverage for up to nine years, depending on the material and the written terms. Ask for the exact period and the restoration covered in your own treatment plan. The phrase should not be interpreted as lifetime protection for every tooth or implant.

Clarify the review requirements, exclusions and procedure for arranging a service assessment. Patients living elsewhere should also ask where the service is provided and which travel or outside-provider costs remain separate. Keep the written terms with your treatment summary for future reference.

Let’s understand
what you need.

Your consultation is an opportunity to understand the findings and compare suitable options. Ask what can happen on the first treatment day, which later visits may be needed, and what the estimate includes. A family member can help you consider travel, recovery and maintenance arrangements.

What the term means

A service-free warranty describes the specified service or repair of covered dental work under the clinic’s written conditions. It is separate from a prediction about biological healing or how long every tooth, implant or restoration will last. The applicable material, duration and covered work should be named in your treatment documents.

Physical service at the clinic

Covered service is provided at the clinic in person. Online contact can help identify the next step, but assessment or repair may require attendance. Flights, accommodation, transfers, time off work and treatment by another provider are not included in the service-free arrangement.

Care and attendance

Your plan explains cleaning, professional maintenance, bite checks and scheduled reviews. These visits help identify problems before a repair becomes more complicated. Keep your records and contact the clinic promptly if a restoration feels loose, breaks, rubs or changes your bite. Ask whether a proposed adjustment is covered before proceeding.

Questions to ask before accepting coverage

Identify the material, restoration and start date to which the coverage applies. Ask what counts as a service issue, how the restoration is assessed and what maintenance conditions apply. If you are comparing two material options, request the applicable written terms for each instead of assuming the same period and scope.

Arranging a service assessment

Contact the clinic with your treatment date, records and a description of the concern. The team can explain the next review step. An examination may be needed before deciding how the written terms apply. Inform the clinic if work has been carried out elsewhere, as that may affect the service assessment.

Choose the concern closest to yours. You can explore the treatment options before booking; you do not need to know the procedure name.

Questions before you decide

Your questions answered

No. The service-free warranty covers specified work for the stated period and terms. It does not guarantee biological outcomes or lifetime implant survival.

No. Covered service is physically provided at the clinic. Travel and treatment elsewhere are separate costs.

Check the warranty document supplied with the written treatment plan. Ask the coordinator for clarification before choosing the material or booking treatment.

Yes. Ask which material and service period are recorded in your treatment documents. The published maximum of up to nine years does not apply automatically to every restoration.

Contact the clinic with your patient details, treatment date and concern. The team will arrange the assessment needed to determine whether the issue is covered by your written terms.

Choose a material with clear information

Discuss the material’s appearance, bite suitability, repairability and maintenance. The maximum nine-year period does not apply automatically to every material or treatment. Ask about exclusions, accidental damage, treatment elsewhere, missed maintenance, realignment or upgrades and any associated charges.

When you need support

Contact the clinic that treated you and share the treatment date, your concern and the relevant records. The team arranges an examination and explains the recommended work and any cost before service. If symptoms are urgent, seek prompt clinical care rather than waiting for a warranty decision.

Continuing care and service terms

Continuing care includes regular cleaning, clinical review and bite balancing where required. A review can assess the gums, remaining teeth, implant tissues and prosthetic components, as well as your comfort with chewing and cleaning.

Service-free coverage is described as up to nine years depending on the material and written treatment terms. Confirm the specific restoration covered, service period, maintenance conditions and exclusions. This is a physical service arrangement for the relevant treatment; travel and care from another provider are not automatically included.
