SAPTeeth Dental Crown - Royal Dental Laboratory Innovative Solution

RDL uses worlds latest and most advanced technology for making crown and bridges for long term dental prosthesis such as in-house CAD-CAM technology, CBCT Imaging and 3D printing. At Royal Dental Laboratory, the team of doctors and technicians are trained to do as much they can for the patient, but as little as possible to the patient. Thus, the team is able to reduce the multiple sittings for impressions, temporaries and other trials on the patient; by using the innovative and effective technologies. SAPTeeth Dental Crown are highly specialized polymers; specially made to protect the bone, implant, or natural tooth.

RDL’s research and development led to the use of high-performance polymers years ago. They have found innovative ways of providing patients with the best possible treatment from the very beginning, whilst simultaneously offering them success-oriented, efficient and capable solutions for their prosthesis.

These materials show that there is no longer any reason to merely resort to the traditional materials such as metal, ceramic or zirconia for the indications cited. SAPTeethTM are plastics that offer benefits in the field of aesthetics, processing, durability and patient acceptance. They offer a win-win situation for both the patients looking for dental treatment, and the doctors in providing the solution.

Why Choose SAPTeeth Dental Crown?

SAPTeeth materials come in preformed blanks that are digitally managed and easy to process.

They are made to protect the bone, implant, and natural teeth under the prosthesis.

SAPTeeth exert 24 to 149 times more shock absorbing than traditional ceramic, zirconia teeth.

A property of SAPTeeth  allows the light to reflect naturally from the tooth.

It is the most physiologic material for a dental framework that is only surpassed by the nature itself.

Dental Procedure for SAPTeeth Dental Crown

1. Advanced Consultation with 3D imaging and scanning of the impressions

Once you have decided for the treatment, the doctors will send the impressions, x-rays and other diagnostic data to the laboratory. Wherein, based on the requirement, the laboratory shall prepare a diagnostic plan.

2. High resolution virtual design of the required dental treatment surface

After approximately 30 minutes, we will have the virtual simulations and models ready for your treatment. This allows the doctor and the team to plan the case in advance and execute it with predictability.

3. Automated customized fabrication of teeth & prosthesis (Designing & Milling)

Upon receiving the final impressions, we follow a complete digital workflow to minimize errors and human contact. Using advanced software and CAD-CAM technology, your new teeth are milled in the desired material. The fabrication process takes about 15 minutes per tooth.

4. Hygiene and Quality checks for every milled tooth or framework

Every prosthesis we create undergoes thorough examination and quality checks by our expert dental technician. Final touches are given, and the teeth are meticulously cleaned before placing them in the patient’s mouth.

5. Straightening & Beautification of Teeth on same day

The doctors receive the prosthesis and its checked again the mouth. Using the special CemResin, the prosthesis is fixed in the patient’s mouth. Regular care and maintenance of the prosthesis ensures long term success.

6. Post treatment oral care, hygiene and follow-ups

To fully benefit from the prosthesis, it is important to follow all the recommended precautions, including regular check-ups, cleanings, and occlusal balancing. After your treatment, you may consider upgrading to better materials in the future. If you are still under warranty, a nominal fee of 20% of the treatment cost or the difference in cost for an upgrade will be charged for any necessary repairs or prosthesis replacement.

SAPTeeth Dental Crowns used at Royal Dental Laboratory

Produces safe, biocompatible, aesthetic temporary prothesis that are required to be replaced by a higher performance polymer due to wear and tear. Indicated for use in mouth for less 2 years only.
It is a thermoplastic (T-) or a chemoplastic (C-) polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). T-PMMA is produced using industrial polymerization procedure for producing high purity PMMA with a theoretic level of purity of 99.9%. The residual 0.1% is non-cytotoxic and is therefore harmless. While, C-PMMA is produced using a chain reaction which may generate free radicals. These radicals allow for formation of long chains polymers. They may trigger allergies and material in-tolerances.

Material properties:

  • Metal-free, polymer based, with limited shock absorbability and low wear resistance.
  • Strength – > 65 mpa
  • E- modulus – > 2800mpa
  • Indicated wearing time – 6 months

Indications:
These prostheses have a high wear and tear and may cause discoloration when compared with the higher performance polymers. Still, they have a distinct advantage of reducing the load on the underlying structures under circumstances of heavy bite force, paan-supari habit, bruxism, health issues, clenching etc. They can be used as temporary prosthesis in such cases and repaired or replaced or upgraded when required.

royal-resin

It is a two-stage process, wherein an aesthetic prosthesis is fixed over a framework. The material of the framework and the prosthesis are polymer based. Indicated for use in mouth for 2 years to 5 years only.

Material properties:

  • Metal Free with shock absorbability up to 30% of normal load
  • Two stage technique, and therefore repair is better and more stable.
  • Superior in aesthetics and function when compared with SAPT.Resin
  • Economical when compared with more advanced polymers

Indications:
These prostheses have a lower wear and tear when compared with the SAPT.Resin. Still, these retain the distinct advantage of reducing the load on the underlying structures. Under the heavy bite force, paan- supari habit, bruxism, clenching etc., they can be used as intermediate prosthesis in such cases and repaired, replaced or upgraded; when required. The repair of such prosthesis is superior, as they tend to protect the inner structures due to the framework over it.

Royal-multiCOM

It is a cross linked composite polymer that offers higher physical values than conventional PMMA. They are manufactured under controlled environment of high temperature and pressure. As there are no use of dental glass or light cured plastics, the colour retention and plaque resistance is comparable with ceramic restorations. They have been clinically proven and approved for over 9 years of wear-off use.

Advantages:

  • Metal Free with approved expected life of 9 years of wear off capability
  • Reduces the load on the joint to only about 4%.
  • Plaque resistant, Aesthetic, translucent and opalescent

Material properties:

  • Strength – > 120 mpa with minimal solubility in saliva
  • E-modulus – > 2200 mpa

Indications:
Most versatile material. They can be used as permanent dental prosthesis with implant, natural tooth or both. They have an excellent gingival response and pressure absorbing capability.

Royal-HIPC dental crown

They have the highest aesthetic retention and resistance to scratching and abrasion. It is a biocompatible polymer of polyether ketone and is strengthened using ceramic. They have been in use in-body Implantology for over 30 years (intervertebral discs, hip joints etc.). With the improvement by ceramic fillers these materials can now be used in dental applications especially as a framework.

Advantages of Royal Peek restorations:

  • Unbeatable convenient processing.
  • Maximum customizability.
  • Cuts like dentin, conserving the antagonists.
  • Optimal Osseointegration.
  • Optimal gingival management.
  • Longevity of the restoration.
  • Natural oral feeling and chewing sensation.
  • Natural aesthetics.
  • Allows immediate restoration and one-time treatment.

Material properties:
Can be used as a permanent dental prosthetic framework for implant and natural tooth cases. They have excellent gingival management and pressure absorption.

  • Flexural Strength – 180 mpa with almost no water solubility
  • E-modulus – >4550 mpa
  • Wear time 9 years
