Excess blood flow in pulp<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Excess blood flow to the pulp gives rise to hyperaemia. This is a result of gingival recession causing exposure of the root of the tooth and dissolved cementum.\u00a0<\/strong>The pulp\u00a0consists\u00a0of blood vessels and nerve tissue, which when inflamed due to bacterial infection causes pulpitis.
